Aileen Carveth

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Aileen Carveth on Saturday, September 1st, 2012 at the age of 98 years.  The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 16th, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Pastor Adam Driscoll will officiate and a private family interment will take place in Sunset Cemetery at a later date.  Aileen was born on February 19th, 1914 in Moose Jaw, SK.  She was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Laura Vandruff; sisters: Marjorie Fitzgerald, Kathleen Hilton and Margaret Forbes; brothers: Ross Vandruff, Jack Hutchinson, Bryant Vandruff, Arthur Vandruff and Kenneth Vandruff; and her husband, George Carveth.  Aileen is survived by her daughter, Marjorie Ryan (Moose Jaw, SK); grandchildren: Leslie (Trent) Willfong (Sun Valley, SK), Michael Ryan (Edmonton, AB) and Nicole (Alan) Hudec (Swift Current, SK); great-grandchildren: Tanner and Tory Willfong, Joshua, Adam, George and Katie Hudec; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Aileen’s name may be made to the Providence Place Healing Gardens Fund, 100 – 2nd Ave. N.E., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 1B8.  Special thank you to the staff at Providence Place St. Vincent Wing.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Calvin Gammel, Funeral Director. 693-4550
