Marilyn Anne Carter

Marilyn Anne Carter, aged 65 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Saturday, August 2nd, 2014.  The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 9th, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate.  A Time of Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Friday, August 8th, 2014 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Marilyn was born in Regina, SK and moved to Moose Jaw in 1975.  She worked at various jobs before she opened Marilyn’s Message Service and also worked at Walker’s Towing for 30+ years.  She was predeceased by her parents: mom, Kathleen, Harold dad and father, Vaughn; her partner, Bobby Hiebert; sister-in-law, Jean Carter; as well as numerous other relatives.  Marilyn will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Mavis (David) Evans and their two sons, Cole (Kirsten) and Brett; brothers: Ron (Linda) Carter, Wayne (Gio) Carter and Dennis Carter; special niece, Sabrina Carter (James) and her children Jaelynn, Daniel and Teagan; and Cecilia Carter; as well as loving family members and friends.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Marilyn’s name may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Assoc., 917A Albert St., Regina, SK S4R 2P6 or the Allan Blair Cancer Centre c/o Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, SK S4T 7T1.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550.
