CAMPBELL, Mary Katherine (née Berger)

On Thursday, March 15th, 2018, at the age of 92 years, we said goodbye to our mother, Mary Campbell, at the Regency Manor in Central Butte, SK.  Mary was born on March 27th, 1925 to Joseph and Katherine Berger, the tenth child of thirteen.  She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Russell Campbell (1990); brothers: Joe (Marjorie), Frank, Paul (Lucille), George (Marguerite) and Martin in infancy; sisters: Barbara (Edgar) Baldwin, Margaret (Frank) Brehm, Katherine (Robert) Coutts, Helen (Melvin) Morrisey, Eva (Emitt) Cantrell, and Anna (John) Nickel; father and mother-in-law Murray and Margaret Campbell; brothers-in-law Stewart and Donald; sisters-in-law: Ruth (Robert) Halliday, Margaret (John) Forbes, Belle (John) Ord, Dorothy (Laurie) Smart and Helen (Robert) Parkhill.  Mary was born in the Central Butte area and attended Robin Hood School.  She married Russell Campbell and had four sons.  After Russell passed away, Mary moved to Moose Jaw, SK for about twelve years.  She then returned to live in Central Butte in 2013 and moved into Iver Main Place.  In 2015 Mary moved to Regency Manor for the remainder of her life.  Mary will be loving remember by her family: brother, Albert (Sheila) Berger; her sons: Jim (Karen), Colin (Toni), Stuart (Elizabeth), and Donald (Gina); grandchildren: Alicia (Brendyn), Brody (Tori), Kaitlyn, Brydon, Aftyn (Cole), and Breanna; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 29th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Reverend George (Varki) Thattuparampil will officiate and interment will take place in Central Butte Cemetery at a later date.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Mary’s name may be made to Central Butte Iver Main Place, Box 550, Central Butte, SK S0H 0T0 for boiler replacement.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  James Murdock, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
