Yvonne and Allen met in 1943 while Allen was stationed here with the RCAF. They married in 1946, at wars end when Allen returned from overseas service. Their life’s travels took them to Europe, Britain, USA and most provinces during Allen’s career in the RCAF. They returned to Moose Jaw in 1966 and made it their permanent home. Extensive travel was made knowing that Yvonne’s battle with M.S. and cancer would eventually end that enjoyment. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Yvonne’s name may be made to the Providence Place Foundation Inc, 100 – 2nd Ave NE, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 1B8 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St, Regina, SK S4P 2R3. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. James Murdock, Funeral Director 306-693-4550.
