Carol Ann Bullied
It is with great sadness that the family of Carol Ann Bullied announce her passing on Wednesday, November 11th, 2020, at the age of 73 years. She passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side after a brave battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, Wreford and Margaret “Peggy” St. John. Carol will be lovingly remembered by her soul mate of 55 years, Ken and her children: Kim (Jeff) Ambrose, Deborah (Dom) Flegel, and Nicole (Maurice) Ricard. Carol will also be fondly remembered by her seven grandchildren: Dorian Ross, Brittany Ambrose (Bryan), Ken Ambrose (Madison), Matthew Flegel, Adam Flegel, Justin Ricard (Emma), and Samantha Ricard. Carol will be forever remembered by her numerous extended family and dear friends.
Born in D’Arcy, Saskatchewan, Carol was raised on the farm near Brock, Saskatchewan with seven siblings. She met Ken, the love of her life, in Moose Jaw in 1964. They married in 1965 and raised three daughters.
Carol worked for the Western Development Museum at reception. She categorized the museum inventory inserting factual information on all the pieces, which is still in use today.
In 1980, Carol and Ken opened the family business of Centennial Tire Centre Ltd. Carol served the Moose Jaw community as an owner and bookkeeper for 29 years. She sponsored numerous local sports teams and community events. Carol was the heart of the business and spent hours talking with and caring for customers.
Carol was always working on projects. She spent hours collecting and tweaking recipes, crocheting, gardening, quilting, petit pointing and numerous other crafts. She was an amazing cook and loved hosting friends and family. Her home was always warm and welcoming. Carol loved to travel and see new places. Spending time with family was one of Carol’s greatest joys.

Our deepest sympathy to your families on the loss of your wife, mother & grandmother.
Dear Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Losing someone is one of life’s most difficult times in our life. Our Creator knows the pain this causes us and he promises to end all sickness and death with his incoming new Kingdom which we pray for when we say the Lord’s Prayer, where we ask “Thy Kingdom come.” One of the scriptures that assures us of this hope is at Isaiah 33:24 which says, “And no resident will say: “I am sick.” Another scripture where Jehovah is describing his Kingdom conditions is at Revelation 21:4 and there we read, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” In this new Kingdom God promises to resurrect those who have fallen asleep in death and return them to us, John 5:28 says “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out,” I hope this brings you comfort.

Apologies if a partially complete version of this comes through I’m like a senior with an iPad. Shit. Anyway, loved working for Ken, appreciated his daughters as a great part of childhood memories. More recently loved Debbie helping me ’commandeer’ some ensue in the hospital when my mom was shuffling off her mortal coil. You’re all good people. Love you guys.

Ken and family…So sorry for your loss. My first meeting of Ken and Carol was when they were clients of mine in both Radio advertising and Real Estate. Our daughters played fast ball together. I never dealt with anybody else when it came to tires and so looked forward to our visits. I will certainly miss her laugh, her smiles, her conversations.
Remember the good times and Carol will always be with you.
