Cory Brown
Cory Brown, aged 58 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15th, 2020 with family by her side. She was predeceased by her father, John Anaka (2013); mother, Patricia Anaka (1981); father-in-law, Gordon Brown (1990); mother-in-law, Rose Brown (2007); and brothers-in-law, Wayne Brown (1990) and Art Brown (2018). Cory will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 36 years, Eldon Brown; sons, Rob and Calder; daughter, Kaylee (Dave); furry grandsons: Wendell, Winslow and Litty; half-sisters, Debbie and Cathy Anaka; half-brother, Kelly (Shelley) Anaka; numerous brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews; life-long friend, Joyce Campbell; as well as many special co-workers and customers. Cory was a very hard worker and enjoyed her 40 year career with the Moose Jaw Co-op. She will be remembered as a loving and genuine person who accepted everyone for who they were, and she was always willing to help others when needed. She was also an amazing cook and baker, and was very crafty. Cory loved gardening, watching her shows and colouring, but she mainly loved spending time with her fur-babies, especially her grandson Winslow. She lived simply and truly believed the small things in life meant the most. The family would like to thank Moose Jaw EMS, Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital, STARS Air Ambulance and the Regina General Hospital SICU and the 6A Unit for their exceptional care and compassion. In honour of Cory, a Private Celebration will be held. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Cory’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7.
