Christopher Norman Brown
In Loving Memory of Christopher Norman Brown (aka Kooter), born May 9th, 1947 to proud parents Royce and Willa Brown, passed away October 17th, 2010 of a heart attack. He is survived by daughter, Christal (Trent) McCoy; son, Troy Brown; granddaughters, Michelle and Melissa McCoy; brother, Phil (Carol) Brown; sister, Darlene (Ray) Kavanagh and many nieces and nephews. Chris may have had only 63 years with us, but he left his mark in those years. He became a heavy duty mechanic in his early 20’s, a job he worked at for over 30 years in Saskatoon, SK. Chris also became a coach of a softball team and was an avid curler and hunter. In later years he moved from Saskatoon, SK. to Central Butte, SK. where he enjoyed farming and fishing in the summer and watching hockey at the rink in the winter. He never missed a chance to say “Hi” to a friend. Chris, you will be missed but never forgotten – a husband, father and grandfather we will remember. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 26th, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in Central Butte United Church, Central Butte, SK. Reverend Rick McCorrister will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Sask., 279 3rd Ave. N., Saskatoon, SK., S7K 2H8 or to the Canadian Diabetes Assoc., 917A Albert St., Regina, SK., S4R 2P6.
