Clay William Brooks
It is with great sadness that the family of Clay William Brooks, aged 59 years of Moose Jaw, SK and formerly of Crane Valley, SK passed away on Friday, January 10th, 2020. He was predeceased by his parents, Joyce and Lee; brothers-in-law, Felix Tavalino and Jerry Emond; and sister-in-law, Karen Brooks. Clay is survived by and will be forever missed by his sister, Lynne Emond; brothers, Neil (Vicki) and Lyle; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Clay grew up on the family farm at Crane Valley and attended Diversified Services in Moose Jaw. Although handicapped for all of his life, he accepted what beauty life gave him and so enjoyed nature, animals, and music with a smile and a wave for everyone. A very special thank you to Beth and Terry Hora for their kind and compassionate care, providing a loving home after the passing of our parents, as well as all of the staff at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Clay’s name may be made to Moose JAW Diversified Services, 11 Woodlily Dr, Moose Jaw, SK S6J 1H1. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. James Murdock, Funeral Director 306-693-4550 www.moosejawfuneralhome.com
So sorry for the loss of Clay. You’ll be deeply missed.
So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Clay touched each and every one of our lives in a way that no one else ever has or ever will. He enriched our lives and taught us so many lessons, just by being himself. Each of us has special memories of times with Clay which we will forever cherish. And when we share those memories with one another, they can’t help but bring a smile to our faces and warmth to our hearts. We are all better people for having known him over the years. Our sincerest sympathies on your loss. Sincerely, Bill, Carole, BJ, Whit, Medorann and Burkie.
