Irene Elizabeth Bradley
BRADLEY – Irene Elizabeth Bradley (nee Dodge) died peacefully at Moose Jaw Extendicare on December 15, 2006. She was born January 11, 1912 at Stoughton , SK. Irene was predeceased by her husband William at Govan , SK in 1936; a brother Frederick Dodge in 1989; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She is survived by her son William (Bill) Bradley and his wife Betty of Moose Jaw, SK; grandsons Patrick (Lesley) and Mitchell (Carol) of Calgary, AB; Gordon Lee(Donna) of Maple Ridge, BC; great-grandchildren Jared and Selena Lee and Luc Vachon; her brother Charles (Betty) Dodge of Cabri, SK; sisters-in-law Helen Bradley and Norma Bradley; and many nieces and nephews. Irene was a graduate of Regina General Hospital in 1934 and did private duty nursing for many years until about 1970 when a fractured hip ended her formal nursing career. She resided in Regina until moving to Moose Jaw to the Bentley in December 2001. Irene was a long-time member of the Westminster United Church in Regina . A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Rev. Allen Doerksen of St. Aidan’s Anglican Church officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at Govan, SK. Flowers are gratefully declined.
