Paul William Bochek
It is with saddened and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul William Bochek on Thursday, December 3rd, 2015. Paul was born in Moose Jaw, SK on February 12th, 1960 to Harold and Lucille Bochek. After moving around for most of his earlier younger years, Paul and his wife Rose settled in Moose Jaw in 1982 after a short 2 year stay in Swift Current, SK. The move to Moose Jaw was a time for Paul to run a Windsor Plywood store. The next 12 years had their ups and downs, between starting a family, starting out owning Windsor Plywood and building new houses. This led Paul to his passion in 1994, following in his father`s shoes by starting his own company, all the while helping Rose with raising their family. Along with his passion for carpentry, he shared others with his family, whether it was hunting with Chris, watching football with Matt, on the water fishing with Nicki, or tending the little patch of paradise in his backyard with his wife Rose. Everyone who knew Paul will remember his larger than life personality, be it his laugh or his singing, both of which could be heard from any 3rd floor balcony. He always knew how to brighten a room. He was predeceased by his father, Harold Bochek; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and David Swejda; and sister, Judith Cavanagh. Paul will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 36 years, Rosemarie; children: Christopher (Monique) Bochek and grandchildren Avry and Kristjan of Yorkton, SK, Matthew (Carmen) Bochek of Saskatoon, SK, and Nicole (Brody) Picard of Moose Jaw, SK; mother, Lucille Bochek of Moose Jaw, SK; siblings: Jean (Brian) Petracek of White City, SK, Ronald (Vivian) Bochek of Parksville, BC, and Bradley (Rhonda) Bochek of Innisfil, ON; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 9th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave NW, Moose Jaw, SK. Father Rick Krofchek will be the presiding celebrant and interment will take place in Rosedale Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Paul’s name may be made to the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation, 9 Lancaster Rd, Moose Jaw, SK S6J 1M8. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. James Murdock, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
