Shannon Ellen Bloye

Shannon Ellen Bloye, aged 44 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Wednesday, July 8th, 2015.  Shannon was born on September 30th, 1970 in Calgary, AB.  She spent her schooling years in Acme, AB where she was a member of the Acme Swim Team and CGIT (Canadian Girls in Training) groups.  In 1979 she participated in the Alberta Summer Games as part of the Acme Swim Team.  Shannon had a joyful childhood and often had people laughing at her antics.  She was a daredevil with many things, including her dirt bike.  It was very common to see her with anyone of her numerous pets.  Summers were spent camping with her Grandpa and Grandma Huntley and cousins at West Ward Ho, near Sundre, AB.  She was the apple of her mother’s eye and Anita was always proud of her accomplishments.  Shannon had many hardships in her life but she was able to find peace and reconnect with her Auntie Gwen a few months before her passing.  She will be met in heaven by her parents, Anita Berreth and Wayne Berreth; and her grandparents, Elgin and Eleanore Huntley.  Shannon is survived by her daughter, Brittney Bloye and granddaughter, Ava Line of Swift Current, SK; aunt and uncle, Gwen and John Regehr of Sundre, AB; cousins, Kim (Mike) Oro and their daughters Emilee and Hannah of Clive, AB, Melanie Eyben and her sons Korbin and Jared of Beaumont, AB, and Shelley (Brian) McFadden and their daughter Katelyn of Bluffton, AB.  A Memorial Service honouring Shannon will be held on Saturday, July 18th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Interment will take place at the Acme Cemetery at a later date.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
