Matilda Betker

Matilda Betker, aged 104 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 8th, 2014 at Providence Place.  She was predeceased by her parents; siblings; husband; infant daughter; son, Henry; and grandsons, Ron and Wally.  Matilda will be missed by her children: Lee, Walter (Darline), George (Vicki) and Mary (Everett); 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews and numerous friends.  The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 14th, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Pastor Bill Thomson will officiate and interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Matilda’s name may be made to the Providence Place Foundation Inc., 100 – 2nd Ave. N.E., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 1B8.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550.
