It is with great sadness and much love that we share the passing of our mom/little grandma and great-grandma, Irene Berry. After a very brief time at the Dr FH Wigmore Regional Hospital, she passed away very peacefully with family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford; sisters: Gladys, Norma, and Betty; brother, Allan; and many Berry and McGillivray in-laws. Irene is survived by her sons, Hugh (Brenda) and Maurice (Carrie); grandchildren: Carla (Kevin), Craig (Andrea), Cara (Anthony), Casey (Chris), Lisa (Kellen); and great-grandchildren: Tyson (Caitlin), Randy, Andrew, Riley, Kaden, Kaitlyn, Mason, Carter, Landen, Ryder, Tinley, and Nikson; sisters, Alice (Art) Cedergren and Dona (Kevin) O’Callaghan; and sisters-in-law, Betty McGillivray and Beatrice Buchanan. Irene was born and raised in Central Butte, SK and she spent her life there. Irene and Cliff embodied the farm life. She was an avid and accomplished gardener, and a great sewer and quilter. She enjoyed needle point, ceramics, reading and travelling, as well as watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren play hockey and ball, and dance and twirl baton.
