Gayle Lorraine Bell
Gayle Lorraine Bell, aged 75 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Thursday, July 28th, 2016. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Jean Alford; and brothers, Bill and Garry Alford. Gayle will be lovingly remembered by her son, Mark Bell; daughter, Tara Bell; best friend and companion, Jim Anderson; sisters, Donna Alford-Douglas (Fred), Jeannette (Len) Chura; father of her children, Keith Bell; as well as numerous other relatives. Gayle was born in Moose Jaw, SK. She graduated from Moose Jaw Technical High School and attended university in Alberta, graduating with a degree in computer science. Gayle’s working career was spent at the city of St. Albert. She was an active volunteer in her community for many years and mostly enjoyed working with people with disabilities, teaching swimming and skiing. Gayle enjoyed many years camping, skiing and other outdoor activities with her family while living in Alberta. Later in life, she enjoyed travelling with her special friend Jim. Gayle was strongly attached to all of her family members, but her heart and mind always placed Mark and Tara first. Gayle will always be remembered by her family and those who knew her well as a kind, generous, thoughtful and loving person. As per Gayle’s wishes, a service for family and friends will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Gayle’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279-3rd Ave N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8.
