Dora Wilson (Brierley) Becker, aged 88 years of Moose Jaw, passed away on Friday, December 14th, 2007.  The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday December 20th, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Doerksen officiating.  Burial will take place at Rosedale Cemetery.  Legion Rites will be conducted by Bert Longhurst of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #59.  Dora was born August 9th, 1919 to Peter and Annie Brierley at South Shields Northern England.  She served in the British Army during the Second World War and in 1945 married Bert Becker and together they came to Canada in 1946 to the Lang area.  They moved to Drinkwater in 1951 and lived there until 1968 when they moved to Moose Jaw.  Predeceased by her husband, Bert in 1990 and a son, Alan in 1973.  Dora is survived by her children: Gloria (Jeff) Dowling of Dunmore, AB, Russel (Linda) Becker of Moose Jaw, Frank and friend Shelley Trew of Moose Jaw, Kathleen Becker of New Market, ON and Raymond Becker of Moose Jaw; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the Legion Poppy Fund, 268 High Street West, Moose Jaw S6H 1S8 would be appreciated by the family.
