Richard Joseph Bauer
It is with great sadness that we announce that Richard Joseph Bauer, aged 82 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019 with family by his side. Richard was born January 11th, 1936 in Garden Head, SK. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Gilbertte; brothers, Albert (Carol) and John; sister, Myrtle; and grandson, Kelsey. Richard will be sadly missed by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy; children: Debra (Brett), Wendel (Vivian), Christine (Kim), Glenn (Marilyn), Vincent, Robbie (Nancy, Andrea); 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Zora; brother-in-law, Merv; as well as a brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews. A very special thank you to the staff of the Dr FH Wigmore Regional Hospital and Regina General Hospital CCU Unit. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 8th, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Father Hector Seville will officiate and interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Richard’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, Unit 26 – 1738 Quebec Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9. I am sorry to hear of your loss. I have so many memories of Richard when we were growing up on the farm. It was great to see him in Moose Jaw when we were there for the Kohl reunion a few years ago. I just lost my husband Fred October 31, 2018 . It is such a difficult time and I will be thinking and praying for you.

My condolences to you and all of your family for your loss. Wendall your Dad was a good man. I remember in the early eighties no matter what bar me and my band were playing in, in Moose Jaw.
