David George Barwell

David George Barwell, aged 64 years of Moose Jaw, SK., passed away suddenly as a result of a heart complication with family by his side on January 25th, 2018.  David was born in Price Albert and moved to Moose Jaw at an early age and graduated from Vanier High School.  David had recently retired from Windsor Salt where he had worked since 1974.  He married Darlene Franklin in Moose Jaw on October 12th, 1974 and together they raised two children.  He enjoyed playing crib with his mother-in-law and spending time with his granddaughter, Abby.  David was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Cecilia.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Darlene; daughter, Cherise (Jason) Hall; son, Quentin; two grandchildren, Jaden and Abbygail; sister, Elizabeth (Gerald) Turnbull and numerous other relatives.  In keeping with David’s wishes a private family service will take place.  Memorial donations in David’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society Box 1658 Station Main Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
