Florence “Nana” Bain

Florence “Nana” Bain, aged 77 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away Saturday, February 11th, 2012. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 17th, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Reverend Lewis Booth will officiate and burial will take place in Rosedale Cemetery at a later date. A Time of Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, February 16th, 2012 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Florence was born in Vandura, SK and raised in Moosomin, SK. She married Hector Bain in April 1957 and together they moved to Adams, SK where they started their family. They moved to Belle Plaine, SK and raised their five children there. Florence moved to Moose Jaw in 1976 where she has resided until her passing. In Moose Jaw, she worked for the Co-op Cafeteria for many years. Nana was devoted to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous friends who she considered to be her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Hector; parents, John and Catherine Meen; sister, Catherine; two infant brothers; sister-in-law, Joan Meen; mother and father-in-law, John and Jane Bain; brothers and sisters-in-law: Harry, Charlie, Clifford, Barbara, Gordon, Ann and Frank; and granddaughters, Crystal and Chantell. Florence will be lovingly remembered by her brother, John Meen; son, Clifford; daughters: Joy, Marianne (Ron) Neustaeter, Isabel (Ryan) Morrison and Bonnie Henri; Jim (Dorothy) Quigley; grandchildren: Michael (Shauna) Neustaeter, Joseph (Andrea) Neustaeter, Stephanie Neustaeter, Kyla (Brandon) Bain, Kevin (Kelsey) Morrison, Sharla Bain, Faith Bain, Aaron Bain-Henri, Megan Bain-Henri, John (Natasha) Quigley and Patrick Quigley; great-grandchildren: Taylor Neustaeter, Gaige Neustaeter, Tanner Neustaeter, Sierra Billington, Kaylee Billington, Dominick Morrison and one to arrive in April; numerous nieces and nephews; and by family of the heart.
