Milton Myles Adam Ayars
Milton Myles Adam Ayars, was born June 10th, 1918 in Spring Valley, Saskatchewan. He attended school there until he joined the Army. Milton was a sniper in the Second World War. After discharge he attended STI where he took a carpentry course. Milton was a farmer, an avid hunter, a self-taught gunsmith and a talented leather crafter. He was predeceased by his parents William and Annie Ayars, his sisters Mabel and Eileen, and brothers George and Clifford. Milton is survived by his sister Annie Gallinger and brother Charles (Lois) Ayars, many nieces, nephews and extended families. Milton leaves behind his pipe and big black cowboy hat. A Memorial Tea for family and friends, will be held on Wednesday, May 21st, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 268 High St. West, Moose Jaw, Sask. Those so wishing may make donations in Milton’s name to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund, 268 High St. West, Moose Jaw, Sask. S6H 1S8.
