It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lee Anne on Sunday, August 18th, 2013 at the age of 48 years. She was predeceased by her father Bob. Lee Anne is survived by her husband, Dale and son, Jacob; mother, Vera; sister, Laura; brother, Jack (Heather); mother and father-in-law, Frani and Papa (Lyle); four sisters-in-law: Teri (Greg), Traci (Randy), Tevi (Mark) and Trelee (Bruce); two brothers-in-law, Dean and Dave; eight nephews and six nieces. Lee Anne was born and raised at Tuxford, SK. She attended Tuxford School, Lindale and Peacock High School. Lee Anne started her career in hairdressing, which took her to Penticton and Kelowna, BC. After 3 years, she pursued another career in Education at Minot State University. Upon finishing her degree, she returned to her hometown of Moose Jaw where she began teaching at Prairie South School Division. Lee Anne’s love of life and people was apparent in her every day activities. Summertime arrived and camping was first and foremost. Lee Anne, Dale and Jake loved to travel and visited various places in Canada. Recently the family was blessed to spend time in Lee Anne’s dream vacation location of PEI. There, on June 11th, Dale, Lee Anne and Jake were united as one on Argyle Shore. A Celebration of Lee Anne’s Life will be held on Thursday, August 22nd, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Donations may be made to Jacob Helland’s education fund at the CIBC, Main and High Street, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.
