Brent J. Armstrong
February 28, 1963 – August 23, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brent J. Armstrong, after a courageous battle with Mesothelioma, at the age of 60 yrs. in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on August 23, 2023.
Brent was born February 28, 1963. He was predeceased by his parents John(Swede) and Laura(nee Bumbac) Armstrong.
Brent is survived by his Aunt Vicki Bachiu and Uncle Bill Bumbac, special cousins Kathy Hack and Susan Harvey, as well as other cousins, many special friends, and his beloved cat, Blackjack.
Brent attended King Edward School and graduated from Peacock High School in 1981. He went to S.T.I. and received his certificate as a Red Seal Carpenter.
Eventually Brent started his own business as a heavy equipment operator, Armstrong Construction. This is where his true passion was, and it showed in the way he operated his equipment. He worked for many years in and around Moose Jaw.
Brent made a lot of special friendships along the way. He loved to joke around and spend time with the people he loved. Brent loved to camp, he attended Craven Country Thunder music festival every summer for several years. He followed the Blue Jay’s and Saskatchewan Roughriders.
He will truly be missed by many. A private family gathering and interment will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Brent’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7. A full obituary will follow.
