Beulah Viola Annesley (née Bellam)
Beulah Viola Annesley (née Bellam), aged 86 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Sunday, September 25th, 2016. She was born January 6th, 1930 in Bishopton, QC and attended elementary and high school in Clifton, QC. She met the love of her life, Donald James Annesley, and they were married on June 6th, 1953. Beulah began her journey as a military wife and mother, travelling west to Lachine, QC, Trenton, ON and retiring in Moose Jaw, SK as the wife of Master Warrant Officer Donald Annesley and mother of 5 children: Brenda, Chris, Robin, Dale and Kimberly. Beulah excelled with grace, dignity and perseverance, wearing “the many hats” which attributes to the remarkable woman, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend that she was. She had the admiration and envy of everyone who knew her and crossed her path. Her life was her family. She will be remembered for her countless talents: making creative birthday cakes for her grandchildren, mastering the art of paper tole, and being a skillful seamstress making the memorable Halloween costumes for her children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald in 1982; parents, Louise and James Bellam; siblings: Gordon, Gwendlyn, Ross and Wayne; brother-in-law, Irving Annesley; father and mother-in-law, Ruel and Alexandra Annesley; and infant grandson, Johnathan Annesley. Beulah is survived by her children: Brenda Dobrescu (Burton Goods, Jay, Arron, Staci, Jynel and family), Chris (Debra, Ryan, Kyle and family), Robin (Colleen, Tahnie, Kirsten, Courtney and family), Dale (Lisa, Makayla), and Kimberley (Lorne Froehlich, Mark, Justin, Jaxon); daughter-in-law, Gayle (Sarah-Jo, Mitchel, Troy and family); 18 great-grandchildren; her only sister, Diana Williams (Marvin); as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Beulah’s Life will be held on Wednesday, September 28th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate and interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Beulah’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St, Regina, SK S4P 2R3 or the Saskatchewan Lung Association, Box 58000, Saskatoon, SK S7K 7Y4.
