Kenneth William Anderson

Kenneth William Anderson, aged 70 years of Moose Jaw and formerly of Dunblane, SK, passed away on Sunday, July 16th, 2017.  The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 21st, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. in the Assemblies Hall at Valley View Centre.  Kenny was born in Russell, MB and moved to Dunblane, SK at an early age.  His mother was a loving and caring person who cared for him until he moved to Valley View Centre, where he resided until his passing.  He loved to sit in his rocking chair and rock, and loved to look at himself in the mirror.  Kenny was easy to care for.  He was predeceased by his parents, Bob and Alice.  Kenny will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Jack (Lois) Anderson; niece, Robin (George); nephew, Rance (Ashley) and their son Chase; nephew, Heath (Jessica) and their children Floyd and Walter; and niece, Abigail.  Kenny was living at Valley View Centre for 30+ years and the staff was like family to him.  They loved and cared for him with more compassion than we can ever explain to anyone.  We always said that Kenny would be the last one to leave Valley View Centre.  We believe that he knew he was losing his home and found a new one to go to.  Kenny’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Cedar and Redwood.  Rest in peace little man and we hope you are running in the grass.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Ken’s name may be made to Valley View Centre, Box 1300, 7th Ave SW, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 4R2.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
