Kenneth (Ken) Julius Anderson
Kenneth (Ken) Julius Anderson passed away peacefully Friday May 19, 2017 with family by his side. He was born January 6th, 1929 in Rockglen, SK to Anton Emanuel Anderson (Sweden), and Edna Lorena Nilson (Minnesota, USA). Ken was predeceased by his parents, grandparents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters; 1 great-granddaughter; father and mother-in-law; brother and sisters-in-law; son-in-law, nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Aileen Anderson (Girard), 6 children Wonda (Tim) Alton, Bonnie Pilkey (Tim Schneider, deceased), Bryan (Connie) Anderson, Deanna (Barry) Carswell, Monty (Nicole) Anderson, Jody (Paula) Anderson; 18 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren; brother Leroy (Lorraine) Anderson; and sister-in-law Ramona (Harold) Krall. His job experiences included farming, construction of Gardner Dam, potash mining, Electrical Contractor in various Saskatchewan communities, and electrician with Sask Power in Coronach from which he retired in 1993. His favourite activities included playing ball, riding horses, gardening, playing cards, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He liked nothing better than pulling a fast one on someone. He loved to tell stories and jokes. A Celebration of Ken’s life will be held on Saturday, June 17th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Drop in Centre, Rockglen, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken’s name may be made to the Saskatchewan Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services, 2341 Broad St, Regina, SK S4P 1Y9.
