Yvonne Gail Ambrose

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yvonne Gail Ambrose on Saturday, March 15th, 2014, at the age of 54 years.  Yvonne will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband, Dan; children: Jason (deceased), Jaclyn, Jamie, Hope, Brooke and Chance; grandchildren: Jade, Holton, Hunter, Nixon and Teashen; parents, Sue and Jerry (deceased) Therrien; mother and father-in-law, Florence and Gordon (deceased) Ambrose; brothers and sisters: Royanne and Ken Sparrow, Diane Katsiris and Darren Hagen, Dale Therrien, Garett and Barbarah Teriann, Joanne and Russ Laidlaw, Carolyn Harris and Janos Mari; brothers and sisters-in-law: Barbara and Ken Galger, Gord Ambrose, Debra and Jeff Bohlken, Jim and Lois Ambrose; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  A very special thank you to Gloria and Dan Murray for all their support through Yvonne’s journey.  Thank you to her caregivers in the last weeks of her life: Rita Graham, Kimberley Pierce, Julia Koudellha, Dr. Kevin Dautremont and Dr. Toby Bridgeman for their outstanding support and compassion.  A Celebration of Yvonne’s Life will be held on Thursday, March 20th, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Brother Pete Klassen will officiate and interment will follow in Moose Jaw Cemetery.  It was Yvonne’s wish that a cancer care center be established in Saskatchewan to serve the people of Saskatchewan.  The purpose of this trust is to receive funds in order to establish a cancer care facility of excellence in Saskatchewan to serve the people of Saskatchewan.  Any support you can provide to help achieve Yvonne’s vision for this endeavor would be greatly appreciated.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Yvonne Ambrose Memorial c/o the Weyburn Naturopathic Medicine Clinic, 138 1st Street NE, Weyburn, SK S4H 1E8.
