Murray James Ager
Murray James Ager, aged 80 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Monday, February 22nd, 2021. Murray was born on May 10th, 1940 to William and Mary Ager, the third of four children. He attended school at A.E. Peacock Technical High School and then went on to a 40 year career as an Auto Body Technician for Ford in Moose Jaw. A change of career lead him to the Western Development Museum as the Head of Maintenance until he retired. In 1973, Murray married Marilyn Janet Ortman and that day became a Dad to Gaylene Linda Lalonde.
He was predeceased by his parents; in-laws, Jake and Carrie Ortman; sister, Evelyn (Wally); sister-in-law, Mavis; nephew, Randy; sister-in-law, Carol Doig; brother-in-law, Bubs Uhrich; and grandson, Justin Fleming. Murray will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marilyn; daughter, Gaylene; grandson, Christopher (Dawn); great-grandchildren: Hurley Ruston, Carson Fleming, Kyleigh Fleming, Kayze Ruston, and Abbey Fleming-Berg; brother, William; sister, Sharon (Keith); sister-in-law, Linda (Elton); as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
A Private Family Service will be held to honour Murray. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Murray’s name may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation, 101-3100 Steeles Ave E, Markham, ON L3R 8T3. Awe so sorry to learn of this. We went to Tech together. He fixed lots of my vehicle dents. Good guy.
Thoughts and prayers for all of you. Robert went to Tech years ago with Murray and they always had something to talk about when it came to vehicles. They can be talking together again and having there vehicles talks . Remember the good times and Murray will always be with you.
I have many fond memories of visiting Uncle Murray sitting on the patio listening and laughing about family stories he told. Murray alway had the best sense of humour. He will be greatly missed.
It was always so exciting when Uncle Murray would take me for a ride in his Ford Galaxie which he always kept in mint condition.

I am Murray’s first cousin my sister Janet and I came to see aunty Betty and all the cousins and visited Murray at his work. He hugged us so tight happy to see us I remember him being so funny kind and very humble. They were so happy to see us. My deepest sympathy to you … and your family
