Walter John Adrian

Walter John Adrian was born May 18th, 1919, at Hepburn, Sask. to Kathleen and John Adrian and passed away at 90 years of age on September 11th, 2009, at Herbert and District Integrated Health Facility. Walter leaves to mourn Pauline, his loving wife of nearly 66 years; daughter Shirley Hammond (Terry) and their sons Scott (Kristi) Owen and Amanda, and Todd (Debbie) Ella; son Leonard and his son Jamie and daughter Marilyn Lohmann (Barry) Bailey and Nicolas; son Ronald (Brenda) and daughters Laura Heikkila (Jamie) Dylan and Avril, and Tracy; and daughter Elaine; brothers Clarence and Gordon (Maureen) and their families plus many nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law. Walter moved with his family in the early 1920’s to farm north of Ernfold.  He attended Sunflower School.  Walter started farming at an early age and continued until the late 1980’s.  He met and married Pauline Zimmerman October 7th, 1943.  They worked hard on the farm and raised their four children there.  In 1988 they moved off the farm and into Morse. Dad enjoyed farming and telling stories.  He had quite a sense of humour and ended visits with “tootle-ooo” instead of good-bye.  “Tootle-ooo” Dad.  We`ll miss you. There will be no service, in accordance with Walter’s wishes.
