Joseph Victor Ghiglione
Joseph Victor Ghiglione was born March 19th, 1917 in the Old Wives district, to Paul and Frances Ghiglione. Joseph passed away on Friday, May 9th, 2008 at the age of 91 years. He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers Henry and Victor, brother-in-law Art Volk, and by his first wife, Marion McCullough. Joseph is survived by his wife, Irene, and two sons Dennis(Laurina) and their children, Carol and Len Ircandia and Craig; Barry (Marion) Ghiglione and their children Paula and Mike Chubb (Maya & Gavin), Brenda and Stef Cowell and twins Ella & Evan and Sara and Kevin Wruck; step-daughters Morinne (Mike) Gregory and Erin, Megan and Matt; Janice (Ralph) McNeil and Rebecca & Laura; sister Kay Volk and brother Ray (Fay) Ghiglione and nephews Kevin (Monica) and their family and Brent (Nadine) and their family. Joseph grew up in the Old Wives district and farmed in the Coderre district until his retirement in 1974. Joseph and Irene (nee Lightbody) were married in 1976 and lived in Moose Jaw. For 15 winters they traveled to Arizona. Joseph loved cars, dancing, clothes, music and travel. He took great pride in his farm and equipment, forever washing and polishing until everything would shine. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 13th, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in the Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Father Job Addai officiating.
