Mary Adelina Harris

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Adelina Harris on Saturday, November 1st, 2008. A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held on Thursday, November 6th, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Bill Thomson of Trinity United Church will officiate, with interment at the Central Butte Cemetery. Mary was born on March 1st, 1923 at the family homestead. She was predeceased by her husband Roy; parents John and Adelina Bishop; brothers Peter, Louis, John and Lorrie; her sisters Irene, Liz and Rose; brothers-in-law Len, Bert and Tom; and sister-in-law Tracy. Mary is survived by her children, son Allen (Dena) of Moose Jaw and daughter Dianne (Doug) Moffat of Regina; grandchildren Chris Moffat of Halifax and Teri (Stacey) Upson, great grandchild Austin all of Regina; brothers-in-law Charlie (Gladys) Harris of Calgary and Bill (Joyce) Harris of Hanley; sisters-in-law Laura Bishop of Moose Jaw and Ethel Bathgate of Central Butte; and many nieces and nephews.
