Russ Johnson
Russ Johnson of Moose Jaw, born March 20th, 1948, passed away peacefully at home on May 19th, 2008. He will be lovingly remembered by his family; wife Yvonne, and his mother Beatrice of Moose Jaw; two daughters Corinne (Bernie) Pirot and Tracy (Murray) Deobald, all of Regina; two sisters Patricia (Dennis) Chubb of Saskatoon and Janice (Rod) Cavanagh of Calgary; brother-in-law Bryan (Emilie) Olson of Qualicum Beach and sister-in-law Joan (Keith)Thompson of Buffalo Pound Lake; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Milton) Calnek of Saskatoon, Jillian (Ash) Pirot of Regina, Quinton (Kristin) Pirot of Moose Jaw, Rob Deobald of Toronto, Andrew (Kate) Deobald of Saskatoon and Emma Deobald of Regina; three great-grandchildren Grace, Halle and Lilah; nieces and nephews Michael and Aaron Chubb, James, Jenna and Patrick Cavanagh, Rob, Margot and Chris Thompson, Jolin, Jarret and Jordan Olson; great nieces and nephews, Carly and Brandon Olson, Marran, Patrick and Holly Dodds, Rachel and Ryann Enns and shooting buddies Kevin, William and Richard Tipper. Russ had three loves – his grandchildren, trains and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He invested 28 years in the grandchildren, 37 years in his CPR career and 44 years with the Green and White. The family invites you to a Celebration of Russ’s Life on Wednesday, May 21st, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. at the Western Development Museum, 50 Diefenbaker Drive, in Moose Jaw.
