Werner Alfred

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father and grandfather Werner Alfred who passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, April 21st, 2008.  The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 25th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate.  Werner was born on May 7th, 1937 on the family farm near Jansen, SK. and left this world where he loved to be, on the farm.  He is predeceased by his mother Pauline, father August and eldest sister Linda Degagne.  Werner is survived and will be lovingly remembered  and missed by his daughters Wendy (Tom) Campbell, Brenda(Randy) Blaschuck, Cindy (Carlos) Sackvie and Trina Hill; grandchildren: Ryan, Amanda, Matthew; Nicole, Mikayla, Jayda; Madison, Payton, Caidon; and Devon.  He is also survived by his four brothers: Henry, Bill, Ted and Erwin; six sisters: Mary, Elsie, Martha, Olga, Doreen and Elaine as well as many nieces and nephews.  Werner will also be missed by his coffee friends at Rodo’s and all those who knew him.  In lieu of flowers, donations im memory of Werner can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 917A Albert St. Regina, SK.
