It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Ted with his family by his side, on Thursday, January 24th, 2008 at the age of 81 years. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 29th, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Rev. Denise Doerksen officiating. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery. Ted was born on September 17th, 1926 on his parents’ farm at Mortlach, Saskatchewan. Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Helen; four sisters, Peggy (Orman) Stevenson, Dorothy (Len) Halford, Hazel Dunlop, Edna (Jack) Hicks and one brother Bob Ward. Ted is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marg; son Bernie (Cheri) and their family, Bret (Serena), Jared (Vadna) and great granddaughter Soersce; daughter Nancy (Michael) Dougherty and their sons Nolan and Riley; son Alan (Patti); sister-in-law Ethel Ward and numerous nieces and nephews. Ted’s family, friends and farm were everything to him. He always enjoyed a good game of cards, curling or golf. Flowers are gratefully declined.
