Dorothy Mabel Bodnaryk

Dorothy Mabel Bodnaryk (née: Defoe), aged 80 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away peacefully on Friday, August 2nd, 2019.  Dorothy was born on September 22nd, 1938 in Swan River, Manitoba where she was raised and received her education.  Dorothy met Fred and they were married in November 1955. Dorothy and Fred had two sons and two daughters.  Sometime after Fred’s passing, Dorothy met Vic and they spent the last forty years together. She was a great cook and especially liked to prepare meals when family came to visit.  Dorothy is survived by her husband, Vic; children: Monte (Kelly), Guy (Tami), Carla, and Robin (Merle); nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; as well as many other extended family members.  So until we meet again Dorothy, keep the laughter strong and the card games going. In keeping with Dorothy’s wishes, a Private Family Celebration of Dorothy’s Life will be held.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Calvin Gammel, Funeral Director 306-693-4550.
