George Donald Hansford
George Donald Hansford of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on Monday, September 21st, 2009 at the age of 82 years.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 25th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Bill Thomson of Trinity United Church will officiate. George was predeceased by his parents; his daughter Heather; son-in-law Kris Goalen; and his brother-in-law Don Parks. He will be remembered by his loving wife of 46 years Eunice; his son Glen(Angie); daughter Lynn (Clayton) McKenzie; grandchildren Cole, Lakota, Chelsea, Cheyenne, Scott, Amanda, Mellesa, Karli, Jessica, Braeden, Austin and Josie; as well as the Coffee Row crew at Tim Horton’s. George spent a lot of time volunteering for the Moose Jaw Girls Fastball League as an umpire. He had a passion for sports, sometimes even coaching, whether it was fastball, ringette or hockey. His passion for hockey came back when his granddaughter, Jessica began to play hockey. He was always the team’s number one fan. He was one great Grandpa.
