Raymond Benjamin Sims

Raymond Benjamin Sims passed away suddenly on Monday, February 2nd, 2009 at the age of 81 years. Raymond was born in Mortlach on September 16th, 1927. In his early years he worked for the CPR in Chaplin and he retired from Saskatchewan Minerals. Ray and Minnie spent their retired years in Moose Jaw. Ray had a love and a passion for hockey. He was predeceased by his parents, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Ray will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of 57 years Minnie; daughters Marlene (Ken) and Carolynn; son Myron(Karen) and their families. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Sask., 279 3rd Ave. N., Saskatoon, Sk., S7K 2H8. Ray’s wishes were to be cremated. A Memorial Service and burial will take place at a later date at Chaplin Cemetery.
