Bill Fedyk

Bill Fedyk, aged 89 yrs, formerly of the Ardill district, passed away on Monday, April 25th, 2011. Bill was born on the family farm in the Ardill district. He received his education at Sully School and Lake of the Rivers School. He joined the Canadian Army in 1942 and served overseas during the 2nd World War until his Honorable Discharge in January 1946. He then returned to the family farm in the Ardill District and farmed with his brother Tony until his retirement in 1998. Bill was predeceased by his parents; two sisters Mary Ambroz and Sylvia Sosiak; sister in law Margaret Fedyk; brothers in law Frank Ambroz, Mike Sosiak and John Babiuk. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his sister Pauline Babiuk; brother Tony Fedyk; and numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 30th, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Padre Doug Shepherd will officiate. Royal Canadian Legions rites will be conducted by Chuck MacMillan of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #59.
