GALLAGHER, GRATTON WILLIAM (PAT)
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Pat on Tuesday, November 15th, 2011 at the age of 101 years. Pat was born and raised on the family homestead, north of Tugaske on the edge of the Qu’Appelle Valley, where he farmed for most of his life. He was predeceased by his parents, Michael (1939) and Maria (1936), his wife of 65 years Kathleen (Peg – nee: Stark), his great-grandson Noah Gallagher and all of his ten brothers and sisters: Frank (1889-1956), Thomas (1891-1954), Lawrence (1893-1917), Jack (1895-1918), Justin in infancy (1896), Ellen (Helen)(1898-1971), Mary (1900-1962), Katherine (1906-1980), Michael (1907-1990) and Anna (1912-2010). Pat will be sadly missed by his five children: Jim (Carol) of Tugaske, Frank(Myrna) of High River, AB, Faye (Bob) Baht of Moose Jaw, Carole (Fred) Kainberger of Battleford and Kathy (Lonnie) Anderson of Marquis; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives. A very special thank you to the wonderful staff at Central Butte Regency Manor for the loving care they provided to our “Dad”. The Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, November 20th, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 21st, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Church of Our Lady, 566 Vaughan St, Moose Jaw. Father Carlos Jimenez will be the presiding celebrant and interment will take place in the Tugaske Cemetery, with a fellowship gathering to follow at the Tugaske Community Hall at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the Central Butte Health Care Foundation, Box 582, Central Butte, SK S0H 0T0.
