Mavis Irene Graham

Mavis Irene Graham (Wellman) of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully with her family at her side, on Sunday, September 25th, 2011 at the age of 77 years.  Mavis was born in Grand Prairie, Alberta and grew up there on the family farm before moving to Moose Jaw at age eleven.  She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years Jim and her brother Fredrick.  She will be lovingly remembered by her son Larry (Jan), daughter Karen; 3 grandchildren Tyler (Tara), Jaydi (Rob) and Kelsie; great-grandson Odin; her brother Edwin; her brother-in-law Bill (Kay); numerous nieces and nephews; and many life long friends.  A Celebration of Mavis’ life will be held on Friday, September 30th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home, followed by a time of fellowship in the Harvey Room at the funeral home.  Reverend Doug Shepherd will officiate with a family interment at Rosedale Cemetery.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  For those so wishing, memorial donations in Mavis’ name may be made to the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation, 2217C Hanselman Court, Saskatoon, SK S7L 6A8.  Due to allergies, the family requests that those present for Mavis’ service do not wear any scented products.
