Jordan Paul Hanna
Jordan Paul Hanna, beloved son and brother, passed away suddenly Monday, January 31st, 2011 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan at the age of 28 years. Jordan “Spanky” was a free spirit from birth doing anything to push the envelope. He was born in Moose Jaw, SK. on March 14th, 1982, a bouncing baby boy that lit up the world and brought joy and love to all he encountered. He attended elementary school at St. Agnes School and continued on to A.E. Peacock in Moose Jaw where he graduated in 2000. Jordan went on to continue the family tradition by working as a conductor at CP Rail. He followed in the footsteps of his mother, father, grandfather, uncle and great uncles before him. Jordan had a passion for golf and hockey and namely the Chicago Blackhawks, his team from birth. He was ecstatic to watch them clinch the Stanley Cup in 2010 after a long drought. He played hockey up until the time of his passing, making many close friends along the way. Jordan had a love for motorcycles early on and in 2000, much to his mother’s dismay, he purchased his first bike. In 2004 he bought his first Harley and it was love at first sight. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his buddies and would do anything to spend a sunny day on his beloved motorcycle. He became an experienced rider riding all around the country, namely to Quebec with his buddy Howie to making the Sturgis run to South Dakota. He made many annual runs to St. Victor as well. He was the proud uncle to Kaleb and Kolby Woodworth whom he adored and was extremely proud of. Jordan had many close friends (too many to name), buddies from work at CP to buddies from high school that he was extremely close to. He was a true friend that would have your back in anything no matter what. Jordan will be sorely missed by his best buddy and canine companion of 8 years, Bruno. His biggest loves were his friends and family, bikes and tattoos. Jordan was predeceased by his Uncle John in 1999 and Grandpa Leo Fichter in 2008. He is survived by his cherished girlfriend, Brandi Warken (Ormiston, SK); loving parents, Susan and Brent Hanna (Moose Jaw, SK); his loving sister, Jennifer Hanna-Woodworth (North Battleford, SK); his cherished nephews, Kaleb and Kolby Woodworth (North Battleford, SK); his Grandparents, Joan and Ernie Hanna (Regina, SK); Grandmother, Ann Fichter (Regina, SK); Aunts and Uncles: Pat Armstrong (Calgary, AB), Barb Tisdale (Regina, SK), Darcy Thiesen (Victoria, BC) and Cindy and Don McMorris (Regina, SK); as well as cousins, Riley and Dustin Thiesen (Saskatoon, SK), Craig and Mark McMorris (Regina, SK), Troy Tisdale (Regina, SK) and Brenden and Royce Hanna (Moose Jaw, SK). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 4th, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. in Minto United Church, 1036 7th Ave. N.W., Moose Jaw, SK. Sister Imelda Grimes will officiate.
