Raymond (Pat) Earl Jennings

Raymond (Pat) Earl Jennings of Central Butte, Sask passed away on Friday, July 22nd, 2011 at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital with his wife and family by his side.  Pat was born at Aquadell, Saskatchewan on July 14th, 1925 to Esther and George Jennings.  During his life there were many things that Pat enjoyed and held close to his heart  – farming, baseball, curling, hockey, the Lions Club, travelling, gardening, music, visiting, making and nurturing friendships, his Catholic faith and his family.  Left to cherish and keep Pat’s memory are his wife, Clara; their children Marlene and husband Jerry, Garry and wife Sonya, Daryl and wife Josanne; grandchildren Jana and husband Jim, Tricia and husband Ryan, Carey Lynn and husband Greg, Cynara and Logan, Andrew and Lindsay; great grandchildren Jesse, Emma, Sam, Sadie and Kinsey; brother Bill and wife Lucie, sister Muriel, Norma, Maryanne, Florence and husband John; numerous nieces and nephews and Clara and Pat’s close friend Bev. A Memorial Mass was held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Central Butte on Tuesday, July 26th, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. Father Louis Nguyen was presiding celebrant.  Interment followed at the Central Butte Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Central Butte Iver Main Place, Box 550, Central Butte, SK S0H 0T0 or the Central Butte Health Care Foundation, Box 582, Central Butte, SK, S0H 0T0.
