Francis (Frank) George Mercer

With sadness we announce the passing of Francis (Frank) George Mercer on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2011 after a brief illness.  Frank was born August 12th, 1937 and lived all his life on the family farm.  He married Jean Garratt on June 20th, 1959.  He was a respected member of the Grayburn farming community and of the Moose Jaw First Free Methodist Church.  He was predeceased by parents Albert and Frances Mercer.  Frank will be deeply missed by his wife, Jean; son, Dean (Natalie); daughters, Debbie (Bill) Smeaton and children Emily and BJ; Marianne (Kent) Patterson and her sons Nathan and Benjamin Williams; and Lori (Jim) Isaac and children Kathryn, Jennifer and Douglas; sisters, Joan (Winston) Huenison and Pat (Grant) Hallborg; and brother-in-law, Gerald (Jan) Garratt.  A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 6th, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  A Time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 5th, 2011 from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Donations in Frank’s name may be made to The Gideons International in Canada, P.O.
