Barclay Ward

Barclay Ward of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on November 30th, 2011 at the age of 94.  He was predeceased by his parents, Sidney Ward and Sarah McLeod and his step-father, Charles McLeod; two brothers, Lloyd (Luella) Ward and Oscar (Adeline) Ward; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Alida (Robert) Noble, Lyle Robinson, Evelyn (Sam) Pickard, Oma (John) Pickard, Waldo (Norma) Robinson and Larry Robinson; great- granddaughter, Shantel Elaine Brown; and mother and father-in-law, Eva and William Robinson.  Barclay is survived by his wife of 76 years, Gertrude; daughter, Donna (Vernon) Brown; grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Ward (Connie) Brown and Leighton (Kristen), Shari (Craig) Thompson and Kade and Jayce, Johnna (Toosh) McBride and Karissa and T.J.; sister, Edna Robinson; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ronald (Myrtle) Robinson and Zena Robinson and Ken Poole; and by numerous nieces and nephews.  The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 6th, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Reverend Douglas Hallman will officiate and interment will take place in Rosedale Cemetery.  A Time of Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Monday, December 5th, 2011 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Friends so wishing may make a contribution in Barclay’s name to the Shriner’s Hospital Travel Fund, c/o Wa Wa Shrine Centre, 2065 Hamilton St., Regina, SK S4P 2E1.
