He then moved on to Royal Mail where he delivered mail to southern Saskatchewan residents. When Larry was 23, he chose his career as a truck driver and was hired by Willms Transport (now Westcan). He was a highly respected and devoted employee, and as such was consistently named “Driver of the Year”, until he retired from Westcan at the age of 65. Larry always loved being outdoors. Fishing, camping, gardening and working on vehicles were just some of the many activities he enjoyed. He will be greatly missed by his three dogs, especially “Dude”. Larry was a kind hearted man and always willing to go that extra mile for anyone. He will be missed by each and every person that had the pleasure of knowing him. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Monday, October 31st, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Thomson of Trinity United Church officiating.
