GEORGE A. BEHM
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of George Behm (known as TOJO to family and friends) on Thursday, June 21st, 2012 following a brave and courageous battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Katherine Behm; sisters, Leona and Hilda; and brother, Tom. George will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Laura; daughters, Georginaand Tammy (Larry); grandchildren, Nicole (Brad) and Brandon; great-grandson, Mason; sisters: Agnes, Christine, Matilda, Clara and Patsy; brother, Leo; and many nieces and nephews. George worked as an assistant manager at the Liquor Board Store for 25 years until he retired in 1992. He loved his sports such as hockey, curling, baseball and golf, and more than anything, he loved to watch his grandson Brandon at his hockey and soccer games. George took great pride in all his grandchildren and he would do anything for anybody. A Come and Go Memorial Tea will be held on Thursday, June 28th, 2012 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in George’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 2M2 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Sask., 279 3rd Ave. N., Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8.
