Raymond (Ray) Bucsis
Raymond (Ray) Bucsis, aged 77 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 18th, 2012. Ray was predeceased by his parents, Julius and Mary; wife, Anne; brother, William (Bill) Bucsis and brother-in-law, Lloyd Dawson. In passing Ray will be mourned and sadly missed by his best friend and loving companion, Mildred Marciszyn; son, Blair (Roberta); grandsons, Josh (Marina) and Nolan; great-granddaughters, Sadie and Calla; brother, Harold (Eileen); sister, Lorraine Dawson and sister-in-law, Vi Bucsis; as well as many other family members and friends. Ray was a teacher and master carpenter, avid sports fan as well as being an outdoorsman who loved camping, fishing and hunting, a collector of many things and gadgets, a card player and music lover who loved to dance and listen to “Old Time” music. To his family and friends Ray was a constant figure to rely and lean on who led by example. Liking the simple things in life, Ray enjoyed his yard and garden, working tirelessly to keep it in good condition. Ray believed if a job was worth doing it should be done right, resulting in his many housing and construction projects bringing praise from all who he did work for and with. In keeping with Ray’s wishes, there will be a Private Family Graveside Service. Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ray’s name may be forwarded to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre c/o Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, SK S4T 7T1.
