Lauretta Marie Colwell

Lauretta Marie Colwell passed away on Friday, August 24th, 2012 at the age of 85 years, in the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.  She was born in Woodrow, SK on October 16th, 1926.  She was predeceased by her parents; husbands, Elmer Colwell in 1990 and Winston Gant in 2006; brother, Lawrence and sisters, Margaret and Edith.  Lauretta is survived by her loving daughter, Leanne (Blaine); son, Curtis (Kathy); brother, George; grandchildren: Keith, Jordan, Kaleigh, Jessica, Gary, Christopher and Ryan; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Cathy and Wendy.  Lauretta was an ardent gardener and cook, a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  Her memory will be cherished in the hearts of all those lives she touched.  The Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 1st, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Tugaske Cemetery with Cheryl Thul officiating.  The Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Tugaske Community Hall.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  James Murdock, Funeral Director. 693-4550
