David Daniel Diminyatz

David Daniel Diminyatz, aged 91 years of Rouleau, SK, passed away Friday, March 2nd, 2012.  The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 16th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Dave was born on the farm south of Rouleau, SK and was one of 11 children.  He lived and worked in the Rouleau area his entire life.  Dave had to leave school after grade 8 to help support his family.  In 1940, he joined the Air Force and was trained as an Aviation Mechanic.  He married Shirley Heywood in 1968 and he called Wray and Brenda his inheritance.  He was a kind man of simple needs, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  Dave is survived by his son, Wray (Lorraine) Heywood; daughter, Brenda (Dan) Hagley; grandchildren: Sabrina and Brett Heywood, Curtis (Verlee) Hagley and their children Cooper and Sommer, Darcy (Paul) Sattler and their children McKayla, Baden and Hunter, Page (Matt) Slaven and their children Grae and Harlee; sisters: Hazel, Amy and Rachel; and brothers, Larry and Ralph.  Memorial donations may be made to the Rouleau First Responders, Box 178 Rouleau, SK S0G 4H0 or to the Rouleau United Church Memorial Fund, Box 161 Rouleau, SK S0G 4H0.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director. 693-4550
