Esther Viola Frechette

Esther Viola Frechette, aged 87 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away Thursday, April 19th, 2012.  In keeping with Esther’s wishes, a Private Family Service will be held.  Esther was born at the family farm at Lisieux, SK and received her education in the Kanterville district.  She moved to Vancouver, BC to further her education and became a Nurses Aide.  Esther then moved to Rockglen where she worked for Dr. Frechette.  She met and married Marcel Frechette and moved to Moose Jaw, where she has resided until her passing.  In Moose Jaw, she worked for the Providence Hospital and was very proud of her years of service there.  She was predeceased by her parents, Erick and Dora Moe; her husband, Marcel; brothers: Alvin, Ed, Selmer, Oliver, Gilman, Earl, Chester and Donald; and sisters, Bertha and Alma.  Esther will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jacquie (Gerald) Jordheim and their children: Tracie (Kevin) McKnight, Kristopher (Tammy) Poole, Braydon Jordheim and Victoria Jordheim; son, George (Marlene) Frechette and their children, Rauchelle (Cory) McDougall and Marc (Lisa) Frechette; daughter, Pat (Gary) Thronberg and their son, Erik; great-grandchildren: Brody, Josh, Aiden and Katie; sister, Doris and numerous other relatives.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  The family wishes to thank Providence Place, with a special thank you to the staff of St. Anthony’s Wing, who cared for Mom with the same love and devotion as any of her family could have.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director. 693-4550
