Leo Hedley Giddings
Leo Hedley Giddings, aged 68 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away Thursday, January 19th, 2012 at the Regina General Hospital. Leo was born in Humboldt, SK on March 5th, 1943. He later moved to Moose Jaw where he completed his schooling at Moose Jaw Technical High School. He was employed as a glazier at PPG Industries until 1980, at which time he opened Band City Glass. He was predeceased by his mother, Pearl; father, Hedley; and step-mother, Mary (Iris). Leo is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Lee) Ismond; son, Grant (Janet) Giddings; grandchildren, Shelby and Delilah Ismond; brothers, Arnold (Olga) and Victor; niece, Lynne (David) Lawson and family; nephews, Glenn (Rita) Giddings and family and Kevin (Lynne) Giddings; as well as by his pets, Oscar and Nipper. At Leo’s request, a Private Family Graveside Service will be held. A Celebration of Leo’s Life will be held on Saturday, April 7th, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 561 Home St. W., Moose Jaw, SK. Donations in Leo’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 9Z9. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.
