Mabel Margaret Rose Guy

Mabel Margaret Rose Guy (Cole) went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, November 20th, 2012 at the age of 85 years.  She was predeceased by her husband, Garnet Guy; daughter, Dianne Westermann; grandson, Jeffery Fischer; brothers: Albert, Bill and Frank; and sisters: Gertie, Hilda, Doris and Ethel.  Mabel leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Barry (Lynne) Guy and their children Angela (Mike) and Chasidy; daughter, Phyllis (Don) Fischer and their children Justin (Nadine) and Coralee; daughter, Tammy (Dave) Burns and their children Cortanie (Billy), Jolynne (Jared) and Matthew (Kayla); son-in-law, Rudy (Pauline) Westermann and children Garnet (Michelle), Trent (Arlette) and Melody (Jeff); several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Laura and many nieces and nephews.  Mom’s love of family and children was evident in every aspect of her life, from her time as a Sunday School teacher at Parkbeg United Church to her 20 years of service at Southwest Daycare.  Her greatest legacy is the host of children that she nurtured and loved, many came to call her grandma, the dogs excited at the name grandma and the rattle of car keys in hopes of at least to go visit.  Yes, Mom, we are ok.  In keeping with Mabel’s wishes, a Private Family Service will be held.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Mabel’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 9Z9.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director. 693-4550
